Job Title: Project Manager 4
Location: Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with strong experience in EHR/EMR, health informatics, and healthcare IT to lead the implementation of an Electronic Health Record system across 59 State Health Centers and multiple public health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the EHR implementation from planning through testing, deployment, and completion.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional IT, clinical, vendor, and program teams.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports.
  • Lead organizational change management (OCM), training, and stakeholder communication.
  • Facilitate meetings, resolve issues, and report project status to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards and project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–9+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of PMP certification.
  • Proven experience implementing an EHR/EMR, preferably transitioning from paper-based charting.
  • Experience in health IT, healthcare informatics, or clinical systems.
  • Strong organizational change management and stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in Harrisburg, PA, 2 days per week as requested.
