Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager,Seniorto join our team in our Metairie, LA Office. The Project Manager, Senior will be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of complex and/or large projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative. The PM is the face of Audubon to the client.
  • Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required to meet client requirements and project metrics.
  • Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects.
  • Ensures that all deliverables have been reviewed, approved and signed off prior to issue to the client.
  • Ensures the project team follows the Audubon standards and procedures.
  • Responsible for reviewing project transactions and reporting any discrepancies on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for review and approval of invoices within a 48hr turnaround.
  • Responsible for maintaining the resource planning on assigned projects.
  • Manages the project budget and schedule.
  • Remains completely accessible toclientduring the life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests areprocesstimely and appropriately.
  • Organizes anddirects a Project Management Team of other Project Managers and/or Project Engineers.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education Required: Minimum of anAssociate's DegreeAND 10 years of Relative Experience, orBachelor's Degreeand 7 years of Relative Experience.
  • Education/Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, Project Management Professional (PMP),
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years of industry related experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Experience Preferred: 10 years of experience as the Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
  • Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
  • Able to speak comfortably in a group setting.
