We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Implementation Lead to oversee the successful implementation of new clients and the management of benefit-related changes for existing clients. This role serves as the primary operational point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, clear communication, and exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate is an experienced project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and is passionate about delivering outstanding results for clients and business partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple client implementation and benefit change projects simultaneously, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage a variety of projects, including:
    • New client implementations
    • Medical vendor transitions
    • Eligibility vendor changes
    • Third-Party Administrator (TPA) changes
    • Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) transitions
    • Other complex client initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
  • Communicate project status, risks, timelines, and outstanding action items to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project resources and ensure appropriate allocation to meet project objectives.
  • Schedule, facilitate, and participate in client and vendor meetings as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and business partners through proactive communication and successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable project plans and ensure accurate execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management, Business Development, Operations, and other internal teams to support successful client outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and maintain detailed project records within designated project management systems.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and escalating concerns when appropriate.
  • Meet established departmental performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits implementation, project management, client onboarding, or a related field.
  • Employee benefits experience required; pharmacy benefits experience preferred.
  • Proven success managing client-facing projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, and adaptable, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
  • Experience using project management software and workflow management tools.
  • Experience supporting complex client implementations or operational transitions.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefits or healthcare-related industries.
