POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for expanding as well as developing new client relationships. Cross selling bank products and services and providing quality client service.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work closely with the Relationship Team to handle any client retail deposit needs.
  • Work closely with Team Leader on outside business development calls.
  • Grow the deposit base by expanding existing relationships and winning new clients.
  • Cross-sell the bank's services and products by developing and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all relevant Bank products and services to include cash management, remote deposit, ACH and wires and lockbox services.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all policies/procedures/regulations/applicable laws.
  • Research and answer client inquiries; discuss products and rates.
  • Research and verify account information and resolve problems for clients, as necessary.
  • Safe deposit box services.
  • Required to support the office with Client Services Support functions like account opening, responding to clients and providing leadership to the team.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OR DETAILS
  • May be required to represent the Bank in the local business community.
  • May have lending authority.
  • Authority figure and liaison between the office and upper management for Bank locations with no executive management present.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Five years banking experience, preferably in Client Services or related area.
  • Must have skill sets for identifying client needs and determine suitable Bank products, organizational skills, and computer skills.
  • Basic management skills and ability to write and conduct an objective employee performance review.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with clients and other team members.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Extensive knowledge of retail banking rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • The ability to adjust to rapid change and willingness to be a team player.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
  • Successful completion of compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank.

WORK CONDITIONS
  • This position must be able to sit for long periods of time as position involves large amount of time spent at desk and computer.
  • Some local and non-local travel required.
