Job description

NorthKey Community Care is seeking a full-time Customer Support Representative to provide administrative support functions in a friendly, positive, and professional manner at its behavioral and mental health outpatient office in Covington, KY. This staff person will interact with clients to schedule appointments, follow the check-in procedures, and collect payment at the time of service. This will be in person, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required. An associate's degree or above is preferred.
  • Experience in customer support, receptionist, and/or administrative duties preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Possess strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to different types of individual needs.

JOB DUTIES
  • Support NorthKey Community Care staff and clients in a polite, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Maintain polite phone techniques and person-to-person contact.
  • Maintain a patient and empathetic attitude at all times.
  • Identify needs to achieve staff and client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to confidentiality in all matters about client information.
  • Provide assistance and backup coverage at other office locations as needed.
  • Schedule outpatient appointments for providers.
  • Maintain electronic health records per state regulations.
  • Follow client check-in procedures, including the insurance verification process.
  • Collect payments at the time of service.
  • Maintenance of supply inventory.
  • Preparation of monthly reports as required.
