Senior Tax Accountant

Location: – 100% IN OFFICE YOU MUST LIVE IN THE FORT MYERS FLORIDA AREA OR BE RELOCATING

Salary: $160,000 -$250,000 Base annual bonus 15-30% + Exceptional Benefits

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with 2+ years of experience to join our tax strategy and compliance team. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and possesses deep expertise in corporate and individual tax law, strategy, and compliance.


What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize client liabilities.
  • Represent clients before taxing authorities in audits, appeals, and other proceedings.
  • Review financial records, statements, and other documentation to ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior management to advise high-net-worth clients and business owners.
  • Train and mentor junior accountants and staff.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 2–20 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Strong understanding of tax code related to corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Proficiency with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess, Lacerte) and Microsoft Excel.
  • CPA designation required. MST or JD/LLM in Taxation a plus.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
