Founded in 2011, World is one of the fastest-growing, Top 25 insurance brokers in the U.S. with nearly 3,000 employees in more than 300 offices across North America and the U.K. World specializes in personal and commercial insurance, surety and fidelity bonding, employee and executive benefits, investment advisory and retirement plan services, and payroll & HR solutions.
Employee Benefits Sales Executive (Producer)
Position Overview
Worldโ€™s Producers are responsible for building relationships, generating new business, and closing employee benefits opportunities with organizations of all sizes. Leveraging Worldโ€™s expansive platform, youโ€™ll help clients design competitive benefits programs while uncovering opportunities to deliver additional value through commercial insurance, personal insurance, retirement plans, payroll, and HR solutions.
This is an entrepreneurial sales role for professionals who thrive on prospecting, building executive-level relationships, and winning new business. With access to industry-leading resources, market expertise, and a broad portfolio of solutions, you'll have the opportunity to grow a substantial book of business, maximize your earning potential, and make a meaningful impact on your clientsโ€™ organizations.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities with an emphasis on employee benefits accounts.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to move prospects through the sales pipeline and close business.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within HubSpot and fully leverage the platform to manage opportunities and client relationships.
  • Deliver comprehensive employee benefits and workforce solutions by utilizing Worldโ€™s broad portfolio of services.
  • Build long-term client relationships by identifying cross-selling opportunities and introducing additional solutions that support clientsโ€™ evolving business and personal needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client challenges and coordinating internal resources to develop customized employee benefits strategies and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in business development, consultative sales, and delivering value-driven solutions.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship management, presentation, negotiation, and client engagement skills, with a track record of developing and closing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling client presentations, proposals, and pitch decks tailored to client needs.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot, and insurance agency management systems such as AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar tools.
  • Experience working within an insurance brokerage, consulting, or employee benefits environment providing benefits solutions is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and related employee benefit programs is preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain all required insurance licenses and regulatory requirements necessary to perform the responsibilities of the role.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and cultivate long-term client relationships.
  • Willingness to leverage Worldโ€™s broad platform and collaborate with internal specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions that support clientsโ€™ evolving insurance, risk management, employee benefits, retirement and financial service needs.

Compensation & Benefits
At World Insurance, we believe high performance should be rewarded. As a Producer, you'll receive a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, commission opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, as well as a 401(k) plan with immediate vesting.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $200,000+, determined by factors including geographic location, relevant experience, demonstrated sales success, and the ability to generate new business revenue. As you build your book of business, expand client relationships, and drive revenue growth, your earning potential can increase significantly, with the opportunity to exceed the stated salary range.
Equal Employment Workforce and Workplace
World celebrates and supports differences amongst its employees. World knows employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows Worldโ€™s employees and Worldโ€™s work environments to flourish. World is honored to be an equal opportunity workplace, dedicated to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or Veteran status. In addition, World makes reasonable accommodations to known physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified applicant or employee with a disability, unless the accommodation would impose an undue hardship on the operation of Worldโ€™s business.
