Job Description

The Manager, Engagement & Event Marketing plays a critical role in leading strategic marketing initiatives across customer engagement, partner marketing, and global events. This highly cross-functional and project-management-driven role requires strong coordination across internal teams, external partners, vendors, and executive stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of high-impact programs and events.

The position oversees the planning and execution of Vention’s customer and partner engagement initiatives, with a strong focus on tradeshows, executive events, partner activations, and scalable event operations. The role also supports strategic technology partnerships through collaborative marketing initiatives designed to drive awareness, engagement, and business growth.

Success in this role requires exceptional organizational and stakeholder management skills, the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines, and strong operational rigor to ensure consistent execution and brand representation across all touchpoints. This role will collaborate closely with the Europe team based in Germany on events, customer engagement, and partner marketing initiatives.

Events & Tradeshows

Oversee end-to-end project management for all major events and customer engagement initiatives, including:

  • Global tradeshows and industry events

  • Executive roundtables and invite-only dinners

  • Customer and partner events

  • Developer Conference (Automate 2026)

  • Demo Day 2026 (event execution)

  • Sales enablement and regional customer engagement events

  • Partner and client webinars

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing scalable event processes, workflows, timelines, and execution frameworks

  • Managing event logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and on-site operations

  • Coordinating internal stakeholders and cross-functional deliverables

  • Leading event communications, planning cadences, and execution readiness

  • Ensuring consistent brand representation and customer experience across all events

  • Managing employee attendance, staffing, travel coordination, and on-site support

  • Driving operational excellence and post-event reporting/retrospectives

Provide leadership and support to the Global Events Manager while helping establish a scalable event management structure capable of supporting Vention’s continued growth.

Customer marketing 

  • Managing customer-focused executive events and engagement programs

  • Developing and implementing the Customer Advisory Board program

  • Driving customer advocacy initiatives, including testimonials, referrals, reviews, speaking opportunities, and peer community engagement

  • Collaborating with Product Marketing to develop customer case studies across key industry verticals and product lines

  • Supporting account-based marketing initiatives targeting enterprise customers

  • Coordinating customer-facing campaigns and engagement activities across regions

Partner Marketing 

  • Building, managing, and leading the Vention Partner Advisory Council

  • Developing and executing co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners including FANUC, Universal Robots, Franka, NVIDIA, and other ecosystem partners

  • Managing partner marketing deliverables, timelines, approvals, and execution

  • Coordinating joint campaigns, case studies, customer success stories, and partner event activations

  • Maximizing Vention’s visibility across partner marketing channels and partner-hosted events

  • Developing lightweight strategic marketing plans with key partners to drive mutual awareness and pipeline opportunities

  • Increasing Vention’s presence and engagement within industry associations and partner networks, including:

    • A3

    • AWS Partner Network

    • Canada Robotics Council

    • Rencontre Innovation Manufacturière

    • Robotics and manufacturing ecosystem organizations

Qualifications
  • Professional Experience: 5–7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a proven track record specifically in corporate event marketing, customer marketing, and partner marketing.

  • Industry Background: Experience in the robotics, automation, manufacturing, or B2B tech/SaaS sectors is highly preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
