Position Overview:

The Client Executive, Strategic Seller, is a strategic, client-facing sales role focused on driving profitable growth through professional and managed service offerings. This role leads with consultative discovery and solution alignment, positioning services as the primary driver of client outcomes and long-term value.

The Client Executive partners with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges, shape service-led solutions, and manage the full sales lifecycle-from opportunity identification through pricing, negotiation, and close. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, profitable, and aligned to client expectations.

This position is accountable for building a predictable pipeline, achieving ACV service bookings and gross margin targets, and expanding existing relationships through increased service adoption, while strengthening customer loyalty and trust.

  • Own and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts with a primary emphasis on services revenue, including professional services, managed services, and lifecycle offerings.
  • Develop and execute account strategies that identify, position, and close ACV-based service engagements aligned to client business objectives.
  • Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover operational, technical, and business challenges that services can solve.
  • Partner closely with solution architects, service delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to design and position scalable service solutions.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle for services opportunities-from qualification and solution design through pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Drive pipeline development and maintain accurate forecasting for service bookings and revenue.
  • Build strong executive-level relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by setting clear expectations, supporting smooth handoffs to delivery teams, and identifying expansion opportunities post-sale.
  • Achieve or exceed ACV service bookings and revenue targets.
  • Maintain a healthy, consistent pipeline of qualified service opportunities.
  • Demonstrate strong gross margin awareness and discipline in solution pricing.
  • Deliver predictable forecasting and consistent deal progression.

What you will bring to the team:

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales with a strong emphasis on services-led selling.
  • Proven track record of closing professional or managed services deals.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate business needs into service solutions.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, delivery, and leadership teams.
  • Experience selling IT services, cloud services, managed services, or digital transformation offerings.
  • Familiarity with ACV-based sales motions and recurring revenue models.
  • Strong financial acumen, including margin awareness and deal structuring.
  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization.
