Job description

Client Care & Business Development CoordinatorPart-Time | Growth Opportunity to Full-TimeBe the First Voice Families Trust.

At Senior Helpers Central Dallas, exceptional care begins long before a caregiver arrives at a client's home—it begins with the very first conversation.

We're looking for a caring, confident, and relationship-driven professional to become the first point of contact for families seeking home care. You'll listen with compassion, build trust, educate families about our services, and guide them through one of the most important decisions they'll ever make.

You'll also serve as the bridge between our clients and care giving team, working closely with our Scheduling Manager to ensure every client is thoughtfully matched with the caregiver who best fits their care needs, personality, preferences, and schedule. Together, you'll create successful, long-lasting client-caregiver relationships that lead to exceptional care and an outstanding client experience from day one.

This is much more than an office position. It's a unique opportunity that combines client care, consultative sales, business development, marketing, and community outreach. You'll confidently represent Senior Helpers to families, healthcare professionals, and referral partners while helping grow a locally owned business that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

This position begins part-time, with a clear path to full-time employment and future leadership opportunities as our agency continues to grow.

Why You'll Love This Role:

Every day is different. One moment you'll be helping a family find the care they desperately need, and the next you'll be building relationships with healthcare professionals or working alongside our Scheduling Manager to create the perfect caregiver match and schedules.

If you're passionate about helping people, enjoy building relationships, and want to be part of a growing company where your work truly matters, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What You'll Do:Client Care & Admissions-

As the first point of contact for prospective clients and families, you'll:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, website inquiries, and emails promptly.
  • Listen carefully to each family's needs with compassion and professionalism.
  • Educate families about our home care services and confidently guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Schedule in-home care assessments.
  • Follow up consistently with prospective clients until services begin.
  • Prepare on-boarding documents.
  • Coordinate client starts and caregiver Meet & Greets.
  • Conduct 24-hour and 30-day client satisfaction calls and visits.
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and their families.

Partner with Our Scheduling Manager-

Exceptional care starts with the right match.

You'll work closely with our Scheduling Manager to ensure every client is paired with the caregiver who best fits their care needs, personality, preferences, and schedule.

Together, you'll:

  • Review each client's care needs, goals, and preferences.
  • Identify the best caregiver match for every client.
  • Coordinate smooth transitions from intake to active care.
  • Confirm schedules, caregiver assignments, and client expectations.
  • Communicate important client information to ensure outstanding service.
  • Work together to quickly solve scheduling challenges while maintaining an exceptional client experience.

Business Development & Community Outreach-

You'll play an important role in growing our agency throughout the community by building relationships and confidently representing Senior Helpers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with referral sources including physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, senior living communities, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Confidently speak about Senior Helpers, our mission, and the services we provide.
  • Follow up with referral partners and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Deliver marketing materials and thank-you communications.
  • Schedule and participate in networking events, health fairs, and community outreach activities.
  • Request client reviews and testimonials.
  • Track referral sources and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with social media and community engagement initiatives.

Weekend Availability-

Families don't choose when they'll need care.

While this is primarily a weekday position, you'll be expected to field new client calls and inquiries over the weekend. Prompt responses often make a tremendous difference for families facing urgent care situations, and your responsiveness ensures they receive the guidance and support they need when they need it most.

Reliability, professionalism, and responsiveness are essential in this role.

What We're Looking For:

  • Growth into leadership opportunities as our agency expands.
