Life Centers is a faith-based, pro-life ministry dedicated to providing compassionate care, resources, and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Our mission is to affirm the value of life by offering hope and encouragement through the love of Christ.

Job Summary

The Associate Center Director serves as a key support to the Center Director in the day-to-day operations of the center. This individual plays a critical role in delivering client care, supporting volunteers, and assisting in the administrative and outreach responsibilities of the ministry. The Associate Center Director must demonstrate a strong personal commitment to Life Centersโ€™ mission and values, and serve with grace, wisdom, and a Christ-centered heart.

Key Responsibilities

Client Care & Peer Counseling

  • Provide emotional and spiritual support to clients in alignment with Life Centersโ€™ mission.
  • Assist clients in navigating pregnancy-related decisions with compassion and biblical counsel.
  • Share resources on parenting, adoption, and abortion alternatives in a non-judgmental and supportive manner.
  • Pray with clients, when appropriate, and encourage spiritual growth and healing.

Support to Center Director

  • Assist the Center Director in overseeing daily center operations and volunteer coordination.
  • Provide coverage in the absence of the Center Director as needed.
  • Help implement policies and procedures to ensure effective and consistent service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between volunteers and the Center Director, offering guidance and encouragement to the team.

Ministry & Outreach

  • Participate in local outreach efforts and help maintain relationships with churches, medical professionals, and community partners.
  • Support the planning and execution of center-based events and fundraising initiatives.
  • Represent Life Centers at community events when needed.

Administrative & Operational Duties

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Assist with distributing support service materials, educational resources, and referrals.
  • Follow and enforce Life Centers' policies, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for pro-life ministry.
  • Agreement with Life Centersโ€™ Statement of Faith and Core Values.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and peer counseling skills.
  • Willingness to engage in sensitive topics with empathy and biblical guidance.
  • Previous ministry, counseling, or client support experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a ministry team.
  • Willingness to complete required client advocacy training.
  • Must pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pregnancy resource centers, church ministry, or nonprofit settings.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.

Work Environment

  • The role is based in a client-focused, faith-centered office setting.
  • Some evening or weekend hours may be required for special events or outreach activities.
