Client Associate

Location: Livingston, NJ | Newport Beach, CA | Scottsdale, AZ

Overview

The Client Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Client Advisors Team. The person in this role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide seamless operations and exceptional service for Clients. This role is instrumental in maintaining strong client relationships and in the overall success of the Advisor Team

Description
  • Support Advisors by coordinating client and prospect meetings, preparing meeting materials, and attending meetings to provide follow-up on takeaway items.
  • Participate in prospect meetings, actively contributing to presentations and discussions.
  • Lead information gathering and onboarding process of new clients.
  • Complete setup, maintenance, and ongoing reconciliation of client data in investment platforms.
  • Assist Advisors with in-depth analysis and strategy of prospective and current clients' financial statements and portfolio composition.
  • Collaborate with Advisors to complete trade-related tasks, including trade execution, documentation, and post-trade activities.
  • Assist with setup and ongoing maintenance of client information in CRM and other tools used for client management including contact information and other significant client details.
  • Provide clients with monthly balance sheets and quarterly performance reports.
  • Manage cash balances and movement, ensuring accurate and timely transactions to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with Advisors in preparing monthly commentary and sending it to clients.
  • Assist Client Teams in the review and monitoring of client investments in public and private investment vehicles and traditional and non-traditional asset classes.
  • Support Advisors by assisting them in task management and coordination with the Client Experience team to foster seamless workflow and exceptional service delivery.
  • Assist Advisor with inbound client inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Assist Advisors in evaluating and developing a strategy for Client Portfolios.
  • Assist Advisors and clients with ad-hoc portfolio, investment, and reporting questions.
  • Answer inbound inquiries related to portfolios, accounts, and transaction details.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance focus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of financial industry experience.
  • Confidentiality, discretion, and good professional judgment.
  • Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide alternative approaches and solutions and exhibit good judgment.
  • Familiarity with large US custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) and state-of-the-art reporting and scenario modeling tools a plus. Series 65 (or willingness to obtain) or comparable industry certification
