OverviewThe Global Accounts Sales Director will lead strategic engagement with our most complex and high-value global customers. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening executive relationships, and expanding our footprint across enterprise data center and IT environments. Travel of approximately 40–70% is required to support global customer engagement.
This position requires extensive experience selling into large, multinational organizations, a strong technical foundation (engineering background preferred), and a demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing sales teams.

Responsibilities

Global Account Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive global account strategies for key enterprise customers in the data center and IT space.
  • Identify, pursue, and close large, complex deals across multiple geographies and business units.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth, pipeline development, and account expansion within assigned global accounts.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders on the client side to align solutions with strategic business objectives.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain C-level and senior executive relationships across global customer organizations.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point and trusted advisor for top-tier accounts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, product, operations) to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of account managers and/or sales professionals.
  • Establish performance goals, monitor progress, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent where applicable.
  • Sales Execution & Collaboration
  •  Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to architect solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Lead complex negotiations, contract structuring, and deal governance.
  • Work closely with marketing, product management, and operations to ensure alignment on key initiatives.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comply with all OSHA, and company safety policies, procedures and requirements

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a strong focus on global accounts within the data center, cloud, or IT infrastructure space
  • Engineering or technical background (degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing large, complex global accounts
  • Demonstrated experience closing high-value, multi-million-dollar deals
  • Prior experience leading and managing sales teams, with measurable success in driving performance
  • Must be able to travel approximately 40–70% of the time
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, cloud services, or related technologies
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed global organizations
  • Established network within enterprise IT and data center buyer communities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
