OB/GYN Physician Opportunity
Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital - Vero Beach, Florida

Launch your OB/GYN career with Cleveland Clinic in a community that values excellent patient care andwork-life balance. We are currently seeking a board eligible/board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. Primary duties will be working in the clinic and seeing both OB and gynecology patients.

  • Minimally invasive & robotic, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic practice available
  • Collaborative team environment with access to Cleveland Clinic's national resources
  • Enjoy seeing patients in clinic 3-4 days and having 1-2 days in the operating room.

Schedule & Call Structure

  • 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 surgery days per week
  • Back-up OBGYN call currently 1:3, moving to 1:4 with additional OB/GYN
  • 6 home calls per month expected any additional calls will be compensated; Home call with occasional in-person support for complex cases (e.g., complicated C-sections, ectopics, torsion)
  • 24-hour in-house shifts optional
  • L&D, ER, and floor consults covered by OB/GYN Hospitalists and CNMs
  • Templated clinic schedule with block OR time; customizable to physician preference
  • Must reside within 30 minutes of hospital per credentialing requirements

Hospital & Maternity Unit Enhancements

  • Major $7 million renovation underway for Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units: includes an integrated C-section suite, remodeled private birthing & postpartum rooms, and larger suites for family participation.
  • Safe, state-of-the-art facilities: remodeled postpartum rooms (1.5&215; larger), hotel-style amenities, privacy, comfort.
  • Established doula and midwife programs (G.R.O.W.) for emotional & physical support; strong outcomes in preterm birth and low birth?weight reduction.
  • Level I nursery onsite; high-risk pregnancy care with stabilization & transfer as needed.
