Overview
Coordinate and perform all tasks required to acquire high quality magnetic resonance images. Ameliorate oneself in educational and technological ability relative to present technology and future enhancement of MRI.

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus
Qualifications
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
ARRT-R or ARRT-MRI required upon hire.
ARRT-MRI required within 18 months of hire, then maintained throughout course of employment.
Healthcare Provider or Instructor BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills required.
Responsibilities
  1. Perform a variety of MRI procedures on patients of all ages, according to established standards, policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
  2. Maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, Physicians and fellow employees.
  3. Maintain skills in performing emergency and routine patient care as required.
  4. Administer agents / pharmaceuticals under the supervision of the Radiologist.
  5. Utilize proper infection control practices per the department procedure manual.
  6. Ensure adequate levels of inventory. Monitor the condition of equipment and supplies to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the department; report problems to proper authority. Review and recommend equipment / supply purchases.
  7. Ensure the integrity of, proper recording and transmission of patient information.
  8. Ensure the safety of patients, visitors and employees.
  9. Participate in flexible work hours that coincide with workload demands, overtime required when necessary.
  10. Maintain current credentials as required by ALMH.
  11. Acquire and maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in MRI.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
  13. Ensure appropriate consent forms and patient history forms are completed and signed.
  14. Ensure that exams are completed in a prompt manner for interpretation.
  15. Monitor patient condition and take appropriate action to ensure continuity of patient care.
  16. Ensure patient comfort, safety and modesty throughout procedures.
  17. Participate in routine call assignment.
  18. Maintain cleanliness of rooms, equipment, and other work areas and assist with transportation of patients.
