Job description

Job Summary
John Muir Health is seeking a reliable Clerical Assistant to support administrative operations at Concord Medical Center. This role provides essential clerical and administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management
  • Answer phones, route calls, and provide front-desk or reception support as needed
  • Prepare, type, and distribute correspondence and reports
  • Schedule appointments and meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and administrative files
  • Operate office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers
  • Communicate professionally with hospital staff, patients, and visitors
  • Support department staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and office equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (Friday-Sunday)
