Production Scheduler - Bacon & Deli/Specialty Meats
Location: Tyrone, PA (On-Site) or Hatfield, PA (On-Site) | Full-Time |
Start Time: 6:30am/7:00am
Why Join Clemens Food Group?
At Clemens Food Group, we don't just produce food-we create solutions. With over 100 years of industry leadership, we're a company built on integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement. As a Production Scheduler, you'll gain high visibility across the business, work with leadership teams, and have a clear path for career progression.
Real Impact: Your work keeps the plant running-without you, production stops.
Growth & Stability: A strong company foundation, with opportunities to move into Supply Chain, Sales, or Leadership.
Fast-Paced Problem-Solving: No two days are the same-expect challenges that require quick thinking and adaptability.
Collaboration & Leadership Exposure: Work across Operations, Sales, Warehousing, and Quality Assurance to optimize scheduling.
The Impact You'll Make
Without a smart, efficient production schedule, the plant cannot run-you are the backbone of operations. In this role, you will:
  • Align production with customer demand, inventory levels, and operational capacity.
  • Solve scheduling challenges in real-time-adjusting for delays, inventory constraints, and production shifts.
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor trends, improve scheduling accuracy, and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with key teams (Operations, Sales, Warehousing, and Customer Service) to align priorities and ensure execution.

What You'll Do
  • Develop & release daily production schedules while optimizing efficiency.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to keep operations on track.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on service levels, schedule attainment, and inventory issues.
  • Use SAP & Excel to track performance, optimize workflows, and drive improvements.
  • Take ownership of your area, making strategic adjustments to drive efficiency.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives under pressure.
Skills & Mindset:
• Must-Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills-you can pivot when plans don't go as expected.
  • Ability to navigate SAP (or similar ERP systems) & Excel.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills-you'll work across multiple departments.
  • High sense of urgency & adaptability-this is a high-impact, high-visibility role.

• Nice-to-Have:
  • Prior experience in fresh meat processing/scheduling.
  • Knowledge of material resource planning & order management processes.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and strategic thinking.

We welcome candidates who are early in their careers and eager to grow in a fast-paced production environment. If you have a strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply.
Your Future at Clemens
We invest in our people. Here's what your first year could look like:
  • 3 months: Hands-on training, shadowing senior schedulers, and learning our scheduling systems.
  • 6 months: Fully managing production scheduling, adapting to real-world challenges, and making scheduling decisions.
  • 12 months: Owning the process, optimizing scheduling workflows, and positioning yourself for leadership opportunities.

Build your career. Challenge the process. Collaborate and engage. That's the Clemens Way.
