Job description

Job Title

Job Description: This position is responsible for entry-level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. These positions could work in any department of Sanitation. Some positions require the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds. Must work in extreme hot, cold, humid, and wet environments; use hands and arms above shoulder level; and stand or walk for 8-10 hours per day. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. The sanitation process uses bleach and other cleaning chemicals. Hours: Monday-Friday/Saturday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time limit. Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: C Shift (United States of America) Certain roles at Tyson require background checks. If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended.
