Job description

Job Details:

Pay: $16.85Job Description:
  • Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and facility areas according to established procedures and timelines.
  • Follow all Tyson sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety policies.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, including proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Safely perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 45 lbs., depending on department needs).
  • Work in varying environmental conditions, including:
    • Cold areas (approximately 55F)
    • Hot or humid areas (up to approximately 80F)
    • Wet and/or slippery surfaces
  • Report any unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, or sanitation concerns to leadership immediately.
  • Support team members and contribute to continuous improvement in sanitation processes.
Requirements:
  • Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
  • Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
  • Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
