Job description

We are seeking a Private Markets Operations Manager at our downtown, Cleveland, Ohio wealth management firm to oversee the end-to-end operational and reporting lifecycle for private market investments.
This role is responsible for managing subscription workflows, onboarding clients and investments onto the Arch platform, and ensuring accurate integration, linking, and reporting across portfolio accounting systems including Orion, Addepar, and PARis. The individual will serve as a key liaison across external fund managers, GLAS, the investment office, and external vendors to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in private markets operations.
This position offers work from home availability 2 days per week after initial orientation period.
Position responsibilities:
  • Own the full lifecycle of private markets operational workflows, including subscription document coordination, onboarding onto Arch and PAS platforms, and capital call execution
  • Oversee data integration, reconciliation, and linkage of private market investments across systems, including Orion, Addepar, and PARis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely performance reporting, capital activity, and valuation updates.
  • Establish and maintain standardized processes and controls to improve data quality, transparency, and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary POC for system enhancements, vendor relationships, and platform optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, breaks, and reporting issues across systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team supporting private markets operations and reporting.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform capabilities, and emerging technologies (including AI) to enhance workflows and reporting capabilities.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
  • 7 years of experience in private markets or portfolio reporting & operations within a wealth management, RIA , or PE/Hedge fund environment.
  • Deep understanding of private market investment structures, subscription, and capital activity.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Arch, Orion, Addepar, and/or PARis.
  • Strong knowledge of portfolio accounting, performance reporting, and data reconciliation
  • Proven ability to manage complex workflows and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with system integrations, data mapping/ automation, and AI and data analytics tools
