The Assistant Manager – Sales & Customer Service Focus plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting sales and daily operations at our Springfield and Lorton locations. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position emphasizes storage unit rental sales combined with strong customer service and team collaboration. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and skilled at building positive relationships with customers and coworkers alike, working flexible hours including occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • Assist customers by providing knowledgeable guidance and personalized storage solutions.
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and consistent customer service throughout the rental and renewal process.
  • Address customer questions and resolve issues with patience and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized facility environment.
  • Support daily operations to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assist with storage unit rental sales and related administrative tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and team members through weekly team meetings and daily shift briefings.
  • Collaborate and encourage team members to foster a supportive and productive workplace.
