Job description

Join a fast-paced, customer-focused team where you'll help contractors, industrial businesses, and homeowners get the construction, aerial, compact, and industrial equipment they need to keep projects moving. As a Rental Coordinator, you'll be the central point of communication between customers, drivers, sales, and service, ensuring every rental is accurate, on time, and backed by exceptional customer service.
Successful Rental Coordinators are able to:
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Keep rental equipment moving efficiently
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups accurately
  • Solve customer issues quickly
  • Support branch profitability through excellent service

What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing prompt, professional support by phone, email, and in person.
  • Utilize rental management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office to coordinate reservations, contracts, and customer communications.
  • Provide information to customers via telephone or face to face about rented equipment then locate and transfer equipment when necessary.
  • Manage rental contracts, billing, equipment availability, and transportation details to ensure accurate and efficient rental operations.
  • Assist loading and/or unloading equipment for customers and drivers.
  • Coordinate with transportation, service, and yard personnel to maximize equipment availability, ensure on-time deliveries and pickups, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Help maintain an organized, professional rental counter and branch environment that reflects our commitment to customer service.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in equipment rental, construction equipment, customer service, or related field is preferred.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact daily with customers and fellow employees.
