Clean Slate program coordinators often encounter challenges such as navigating complex legal requirements, staying up-to-date with ever-evolving expungement laws, and managing high caseloads. Job description

GTM Engineer (AI-First)About Kana

Kana is the agentic marketing platform built for the AI era. Founded by the team behind Rapt (acquired by Microsoft) and Krux (acquired by Salesforce for $700M), Kana emerged from stealth in February 2026 with $15M in seed funding led by Mayfield.

We deploy customizable AI agents that integrate with marketers' existing stacks rather than replacing them. Our platform handles campaign management, customer engagement, marketing intelligence, synthetic data generation, answer engine optimization, and media proposal generation - giving marketing teams a "third path" between building from scratch and buying off-the-shelf. We believe in augmented intelligence: AI that amplifies marketers, not replaces them.

We're a small, senior team building deliberately. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape Kana's GTM motion alongside two founders who have done this before.

The Mission

At Kana, we aren't looking for a traditional Growth Marketer or a standard Sales Ops Lead. We are looking for a GTM Engineer: a technical-minded builder who views the revenue funnel as a high-performance engine.

Your goal is simple but ambitious: Maximize "at-bats" for our sales team. You will be the architect and operator of an AI-first demand generation machine, leveraging our own platform alongside a cutting-edge stack to ensure our inbound and outbound motions are personalized, scalable, and relentlessly optimized.

The Role: What You'll Do

You will own the technical stack and execution of our Go-To-Market strategy. This is a "player-architect" role where you will:

  • Architect the Outbound Engine: Use Clay for deep research and lead enrichment, Wiza and Sales Navigator for audience research and sourcing.
  • Scale High-Volume Outreach: Deploy, test, and manage outbound email sequences via Instantly.ai, and Valley for signal-based LinkedIn outreach to ensure high deliverability and AI-driven personalization at scale.
  • Own the System of Record: Maintain HubSpot as the single source of truth. Build the automated "plumbing" that moves leads from discovery to booked meetings with zero manual data entry.
  • Inbound & SEO Strategy: Leverage SEMRush to identify high-intent keywords and gaps then use AI platforms to generate and deploy high-converting content across our marketing channels.
  • Paid Search and Social Management and Optimization: You'll manage paid search and paid social campaigns and ensure that all message testing, positioning and experimentation is being fed directly into our paid channels to optimize outcomes.
  • Optimize & Iterate: Treat the funnel like code. You will constantly A/B test messaging, landing pages, and workflows, using data to kill what isn't working and double down on what is.
  • Master the Kana Platform: Acting as "Customer Zero" for Kana's agentic platform, you will, in parallel, deploy our internal AI agents to find audiences, optimize digital campaigns, and ensure our brand is discoverable in the LLM ecosystem (AEO).
Who You Are
  • The Technical Marketer: You likely have a background in Growth Engineering or RevOps. You don't just "use" tools; you connect them via APIs, webhooks, and Google Workspace automation.
  • A Storyteller: You may occasionally be called upon to share your methods, your experiments and your learnings in a well-organized narrative on stage at events, in webinars, and in customer meetings.
  • AI-Native: You are obsessed with the current AI landscape. You know how to prompt (Claude/GPT/Gemini), how to use LLMs for data transformation, and how to automate high-level cognitive tasks.
  • Data-Obsessed: You live in the numbers. You understand CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and attribution, and you use these metrics to guide your next experiment.
  • Bias for Action: You'd rather ship an experimental campaign today than wait for a "perfect" one next month.
Why Join Kana?

We are building the future of "Agentic Marketing," and we need a GTM engine that reflects that. At Kana, you'll have the autonomy to help us write a future-proof GTM playbook. No legacy processes to hold you back, just a clean slate, a powerful mission, and the resources to build the most efficient demand-gen engine in the industry.

Strong equity, base of $150-175K, full benefits, and an experienced team who understand the ins-and-outs of building a company.

Ready to build the engine? Apply now and tell us about the most complex AI-driven automation you've ever built.
