Custom Pad & Partition is looking for an experienced Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our Manufacturing team.


Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM (Overtime & Saturdays as needed) 
Work Location: Santa Clara, CA

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)

Custom Pad & Partition is a privately owned Silicon Valley manufacturer specializing in innovative corrugated packaging since 1976. We’ve built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-standing customer and employee relationships. 


The Role 

This position plays a key role in supporting material flow and production operations in our manufacturing facility. You’ll operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods throughout the plant, deliver materials to production machines, and regularly load and unload trucks with incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products. This role is critical to maintaining safe, organized warehouse operations and keeping production and shipping running efficiently. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Operate forklifts to load/unload trucks and transport materials throughout the facility 
  • Deliver raw materials and corrugated sheets to production machines 
  • Stage, organize, and store materials for production, shipment, and warehouse inventory 
  • Maintain efficient material flow between storage, staging areas, and production equipment 
  • Prepare materials for production or shipment by staging, strapping, or wrapping pallets 
  • Communicate with truck drivers and internal teams to coordinate loading and unloading 
  • Perform daily forklift inspections, assist with cycle counts, and report damaged materials 
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain clean warehouse, production, and staging areas 


Qualifications 

2+ years forklift experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment 

Current forklift certification 

Experience supporting production lines or manufacturing operations preferred 

Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. 

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety 

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment 

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred 


Work Environment 

Fast-paced corrugated manufacturing and warehouse facility supporting active production lines 

Forklift operation around industrial equipment and moving machinery with continuous material flow 

Indoor and outdoor work loading and unloading trucks in production, warehouse, and designated loading areas in an industrial environment
