Job description

Part-Time Independent / Hourly
Estimated Time Commitment: 2-4 hours per week
Slate is seeking a Part-Time Site Supervisor / Client Relations Representative to serve as our San Diego on-site representative. This role is responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, conducting quality inspections, supporting and motivating cleaning teams, and ensuring Slate's service standards are consistently met.
The Supervisor will act as the point of contact during scheduled site visits and will work hands-on with the cleaning team to provide guidance, training, and encouragement.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relations & Site Visits
  • Conduct weekly on-site visits with the client and cleaning team during the first 30 days
  • Transition to biweekly site visits after the initial 30-day period
  • Serve as the on-site Slate representative for the San Diego location
  • Check in with the client during visits to address feedback, concerns, or service needs
  • Conduct walkthroughs with the client to review service quality and expectations

Quality Control & Inspections
  • Perform detailed inspections of cleaning work
  • Ensure all work meets Slate quality standards and client expectations
  • Identify and document areas for improvement and follow up on corrective actions

Team Support & Training
  • Work hands-on alongside cleaners as needed to:
    • Reinforce proper cleaning procedures
    • Train on Slate standards and checklists
    • Motivate and encourage team members
  • Provide real-time feedback and coaching to the cleaning team

Reporting & Communication
  • Document site visits, inspections, and notes using Slate systems and apps
  • Communicate updates, issues, and client feedback to Slate Operations
  • Support implementation of action plans as directed by management
