Job description

The Community Learning Center (CLC, Inc.), a private nonprofit organization, seeks a professional, enthusiastic individual to fill a case manager position working with youth and young adults ages 18 to 24 in Tarrant County, TX.

Under the direction of the project manager, the case manager identifies clientsโ€™ needs and connects them to resources, working with other staff and partner organizations and acting as an advocate on behalf of the students to help them return to satisfactory employment.ย  The case manager works with students to assess their academic and employment-related needs and assists them in developing and fulfilling a career plan. The case manager assists the project manager with community and business networking, public relations and marketing, and a wide range of program awareness activities.

Preferred qualifications include 2-4 years of experience working with youth and young adults and a bachelor's degree or equivalent that supports workforce development, vocational counseling, or human resources development. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, organizations, and employers. Possesses good interpersonal skills, professionalism, a positive attitude, and a high degree of energy. Experience in public speaking and working with the business community is preferred. Computer literacy is required.ย  Must have the capacity to handle diverse tasks and be able to work independently.
