The Classic Center | Athens, GA
Part-Time Internship | Semester-Based

Around 15 hours a week

At The Classic Center, every great event, show, meeting, and guest experience starts with great people. As a Talent Success Intern, you'll gain real-world Human Resources experience while supporting the team responsible for attracting, onboarding, and supporting the employees who make it all happen.

If you're interested in Human Resources, Business, Management, Psychology, Hospitality, or Organizational Development, this internship is an opportunity to move beyond the classroom and see how HR works in a fast-paced, professional environment.

This internship is designed for students who are receiving academic credit through their college or university.


What You'll Do

As a Talent Success Intern, you'll get hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, including:


Help Welcome New Team Members

  • Prepare onboarding packets and employee documentation
  • Support new hire orientation sessions
  • Assist with tracking pre-employment requirements such as background checks and screenings

Learn the Fundamentals of HR Compliance

  • Help maintain employee records and personnel files
  • Assist with HR audits and documentation reviews
  • Learn about confidentiality, workplace regulations, and compliance standards

Explore Payroll & Benefits

  • Observe how employee information moves through payroll and HR systems
  • Assist with reviewing personnel documentation for accuracy
  • Help organize benefits materials and employee resources

Support Recruiting Efforts

  • Assist with posting job and internship opportunities
  • Help organize resumes and applications
  • Represent The Classic Center at job fairs and campus recruiting events

Get Involved in Employee Programs & Events
