Frontline Supervisor

The Classic Center Authority | Akins Ford Arena & The Classic Center

The Classic Center Authority is seeking a Frontline Supervisor to oversee event setup and housekeeping teams at The Classic Center. This role is ideal for a handson supervisor who enjoys managing people, solving problems in real time, and ensuring event spaces are safe, clean, and eventready.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise event setup, breakdown, and housekeeping staff
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during assigned events
  • Follow Event Planning Sheets (EPS) to coordinate staffing, equipment, and timelines
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to move staging, seating, and materials
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper egress in all public and backofhouse areas
  • Enforce safety policies and report facility or equipment issues
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and fellow supervisors
  • Maintain organized storage areas and promote efficient use of resources


Schedule Expectations

  • Eventdriven schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility required based on event needs

Qualifications
