About the position

Under the supervision of the Claims Director, you will contribute to the implementation of strategic orientations and to achieve the annual objectives of the Claims department. You will carry out work from one of our offices located within the territories of Promutual Insurance in Lac au Fleuve, Batisseurs, or Cote-Est. You will be required to travel regularly between the offices of these three mutuals.

  • Supervise, guide, and motivate the team dedicated to the Atlantic region, while supporting their professional development
  • Ensure compliance with service quality standards and continuous process improvement
  • Integrate and support team members with diverse backgrounds, building strong team motivation and engagement
  • Prepare reports and performance reviews to assess the operational effectiveness of the department and support management in decisionmaking
  • Collaborate with other coordination teams to contribute to the development of the Claims department in alignment with corporate strategies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives with various teams within the Claims department and other departments across our three mutual entities.

Do you fit this profile?

  • College diploma or any other related course in property and casualty insurance
  • Level 3 adjuster's license issued in the province of New Brunswick
  • Valid Quebec claims adjuster (AMF) license (an asset)
  • Eight years of relevant experience in claims settlement and a minimum of three years in team management
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships
  • Strong knowledge of coaching best practices and a genuine interest in talent development
  • Strong judgment, courage to act, agility, autonomy and diplomacy
  • Advanced proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to regularly assist and serve our francophone and anglophone clients across the territory and/or our suppliers through complex interactions related to insurance or the group's business sectors, and to support Promutual group's growth objectives
