Legal Assistant - Bankruptcy & Creditors' Remedies Location: Minneapolis, MN Compensation: $48,000 - $91,000 (Depending on experience) + Comprehensive Benefits LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Minneapolis law firm to identify a Legal Assistant to support a busy Bankruptcy & Creditors' Remedies practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting attorneys in complex matters, and takes pride in providing exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, agreements, and other case-related documents.
  • Manage document comparisons, PDF conversions, scanning, and electronic file organization.
  • Electronically file documents in state, federal, bankruptcy, and appellate courts nationwide.
  • Maintain litigation calendars and docket court deadlines, scheduling orders, hearings, and briefing schedules.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files, pleadings, and supporting documentation.
  • Review and finalize attorney time entries and assist with billing and invoice management.
  • Coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, depositions, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and deliver outstanding client service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications Required:
  • Strong administrative experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and interruptions while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product.
Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience supporting a Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights, or Litigation practice.
  • Prior law firm experience.
  • Experience with legal document management and time-entry systems.
  • Familiarity with iManage and Intapp software platforms.
