*This position will report to our Indianapolis office.

Our team is looking for a qualified, self-motivated Project Manager experienced in Land Development. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of residential and/or commercial land development including conducting due diligence, evaluating site conditions, working with municipalities & reviewing agencies, and overseeing public and private utility contractors, site contractors & landscape contractors. The Land Development Project Manager supports the creation of the site development budget and required internal reporting and documentation for all land development projects.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO

  • Perform and supervise engineering work related to the design and permitting of site engineering / land development projects.
  • Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate engineering projects with unique and complex criteria.
  • Supervise the engineering work of a project team, including other engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Providing site engineering expertise to other individuals and work groups within the firm.
  • Scope work and write proposals.
  • Manage budgets, invoice preparation and forecasting.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with clients to ensure we are meeting their needs.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in civil engineering.
  • 7+ years of relevant, progressive experience in the civil engineering industry, with an emphasis on land development projects.
  • Professional Engineering License in Indiana (or the ability to obtain licensure in Indiana through reciprocity).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, manage time and problem solve.
  • Strong data analysis and organizational skills.
  • Complete competence working well independently and on a team.
  • Applicant must possess high ethical standards, have a strong sense of commitment to self-development, teamwork, and a desire to work in a deadline-driven team environment.
