What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Civil Estimator Part Time, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Civil Estimator Part Time, you need a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, cost estimation, and relevant experience or a degree in construction management or a related field. Familiarity with estimation software (such as Bluebeam, CostX, or Microsoft Excel), project management tools, and industry standards is typically required.
