We provide high quality traffic control safety services to construction job sites, such as Flagging traffic through a work site, setting up and monitoring Lane Closures to divert traffic, or Detouring traffic to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents. We serve the needs of varied industries and are focused on maintaining a safe work environment for the construction crew, our employees, and the public. Our focus is Safety, so our customers can focus on their jobs.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the IT Supervisor, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining all systems and software to ensure the Company's employees can focus on the business mission. The positions' home office will be in North Hollywood, California. This is an on-site position.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain all aspects of the office technology environment, including PC/laptop/tablet/phone configuration, business-related application management, and network/internet/cloud connectivity.
• Work directly with the main office and traffic field employees in identifying technical issues and providing cost-effective solutions.
• Provide help on Microsoft Office 365 environment, both in a hands-on capacity for the local office and remotely for all offices as needed.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and ease of access for on-site and remote users alike.
• Act as the first point of contact for all technical support issues for the entire company's user community for all hardware and software applications.
• Perform all add/move/change requests for user accounts, including system, VPN, email, phone, and business applications.
• Formulate action items for proactive improvement of all technology tools and services.
• Travel to service all the company locations, on an as-needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Operating Office 365 admin center (OAC), Exchange admin center (EAC), PowerShell scripting.
• Administration of the following: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, QuickBooks, Azure, Cisco, Meraki firewalls, MSP, and Zoho Desk.
• Understanding of wireless technology (internet/cellular), encryption software, hardware, software, and applications.
• Strong knowledge of personal computing, MAC and Windows PC/Workstation based LAN systems, basic TCP/IP protocols, and Infrastructure management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, decisiveness, good judgment, and the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and vendors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.
• Wide range of technical knowledge, problem solving, communication/listening, patience and diplomacy.
Education & Experience:
• IT related associates degree and 2 years related work experience in office setting.
• or A+ and/or Network+, CCNA certification or similar technological certifications and two years applied working experience.
• Certifications and experience can be substituted for formal training.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Network Operating Systems, including Active Directory and Group Policy, and Office 365 Suite.
• Experience supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously, primarily in an office or school environment, and prioritizing work to meet and or exceed established service levels.
Physical Demands:
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Repeated motions that include wrist, hands, and fingers.
• Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments, including tight and confined spaces.

• Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Occasionally required to balance, climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
