Job description

Reliable Pharmacy Technicians Needed for Per Diem Opportunities in the Greater Sacramento Area
A leading retail pharmacy is seeking dependable and experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join their per diem team, covering locations including Citrus Heights, Lodi, Stockton, and surrounding areas. Technicians will have the chance to work 3-4 days per week with potential for additional shifts, supporting a high-volume retail pharmacy environment. This role offers consistent weekly work and valuable experience with flexible scheduling across day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties including answering phones, accurate data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
  • Manage cash register transactions, inventory control, and takebacks
  • Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting; candidates with less than one year of experience will not be considered
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Valid California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail

  • Positions available primarily in Citrus Heights, CA, with additional opportunities across the greater Sacramento region, including Lodi and Stockton
Additional Information:
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 30 miles from the home address
