Job description

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer (Citrix) with extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale Citrix environments across Windows and Linux/UNIX platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert responsible for enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure, application delivery, cross-platform identity integration, virtualization, and systems engineering initiatives supporting mission-critical operations.
Salary Range:
  • $170,000 - $210,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, certifications, and clearance status.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, engineer, deploy, and maintain enterprise Citrix environments including XenApp, XenDesktop, Virtual Apps and Desktops, StoreFront, NetScaler, Provisioning Services, and Profile Management.
  • Install, configure, and support Citrix application publishing for Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based applications.
  • Provide Tier III and Tier IV support for Citrix infrastructure, troubleshooting complex performance, connectivity, authentication, and application delivery issues.
  • Administer Microsoft Windows Server environments including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux and UNIX operating systems including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Solaris systems.
  • Integrate Linux and UNIX systems with Microsoft Active Directory using Delinea, Centrify, and related identity management technologies.
  • Support VMware ESX and vSphere environments hosting Citrix workloads and enterprise services.
  • Deploy, configure, and support enterprise storage technologies including NetApp storage systems and SAN infrastructure.
  • Perform system hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities in accordance with security requirements.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and stakeholders to modernize infrastructure and improve service delivery.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments.
  • Strong administration experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
  • IAT II certification
  • Strong Linux and UNIX administration experience, preferably with Red Hat Linux and Solaris.
  • Experience with VMware ESX and vSphere virtualization technologies.
  • Experience integrating Linux and UNIX systems with Active Directory and enterprise authentication services.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and supporting enterprise infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Citrix Certified Administrator, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops certification, or equivalent.
  • NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator or equivalent enterprise storage experience.
  • Experience with Delinea, Centrify, privileged access management, and cross-platform identity integration.
  • Experience supporting enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure environments and Citrix NetScaler implementations.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other highly secure enterprise environments.

Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
