Job description

Job Summary:
Latitude Inc is seeking a Systems Engineer with strong Windows Server and Citrix administration experience to support a federal intelligence customer. The role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of advanced geospatial and cloud-based systems, while directly impacting national security operations.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Take a leadership role in driving system changes, enhancements, and long-term improvements.
โ€ข Work closely with government and contractor stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents (INCs).
โ€ข Proactively recommend and implement configuration changes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
โ€ข Deploy security patches, hotfixes, and updates across test and production environments.
โ€ข Maintain and update critical system databases with new data and configuration details.
โ€ข Develop, document, and update operational and security SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and technical diagrams.
โ€ข Ensure stability of mission-critical systems through monitoring, incident response, and remediation activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
โ€ข Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
โ€ข DoD 8570 Certification (Security+ or higher).
โ€ข Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows administration.
โ€ข Hands-on experience with Citrix administration.
โ€ข Familiarity with cloud, SOA, and virtualization environments.
โ€ข Experience with AWS technologies (EC2, S3 Buckets, Reserved Instances, etc.).
โ€ข Knowledge of systems engineering and sustainment best practices.
โ€ข Proficiency with Git/GitLab or other version control systems.
โ€ข Strong documentation skills including VDDs, diagrams, SOPs.
โ€ข Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior experience supporting geospatial products or programs.
โ€ข Citrix certifications.
โ€ข AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
โ€ข SAFe Agile certification.
