Job description

We are looking for an experienced Syteline Systems Engineer with a robust technical background to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in supporting Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) versions 6-10. You will play a crucial role in the installation, upgrading, uplifting, configuration and support of the Syteline ERP application, collaborating closely with the rest of our professional services team to meet our clients' needs. Your strong technical skills and team-oriented approach will help drive successful ERP implementations.


This will be a fully remote position.


Job Summary:

The SyteLine Systems Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Infor CloudSuite Industrial ERP (SyteLine, Factory Track and Infor OS) for our existing and new clients. In addition, the SyteLine Systems Engineer will be responsible for performing upgrades from older versions of SyteLine to SyteLine V10 for both on premise and cloud clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure and maintain SyteLine ERP software and add on applications for existing and new clients, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
  • Execute software upgrade procedures to migrate from older versions of SyteLine and Factory Track to the current versions both on premise and in the Infor multi-tenant cloud.
  • Install Microsoft SQL Server
  • Perform post provisioning in the cloud and coordinate db transfer activities with the Infor cloud team.
  • Setup and configure users, printers and devices on SyteLine and Factory Track.
  • Train and provide ongoing support to clients for system administration, configuration, best practices and technical issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with applications and systems.
  • Assist with performing backups and configuration of db refreshes on premise.
  • Complete SQL performance tuning and optimization.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Associate's degree with equivalent certifications and experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience performing Infor Syteline and Factory Track installations, upgrades and uplifts, configuration of Infor OS, and providing technical support.
  • Thorough understanding of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine, Factory Track and Infor OS) architecture and third-party vendor solutions.
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, workstations, server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Citrix, Azure, AWS, and other software applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work well with others and to work independently.
  • Must be client service oriented and able to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform SQL Server installations and configurations.
  • Working knowledge of T-SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate curiosity to stay current with technology.
  • Experience working in agile or collaborative environments is a plus.
