Description
TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to join our established emergency medicine (EM) team at Citizens Baptist Medical Center in Talladega, Alabama. Responsibilities
As an advanced practice clinician in the Citizens Baptist ED, you will:
  • Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a full spectrum of emergency presentations
  • Perform procedures consistent with emergency medicine practice (suturing, splinting, I&D, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced community emergency department

Qualifications
  • Current NP or PA licensure in Alabama (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine preferred
  • Current ACLS/BLS; PALS certification preferred
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
