Job Title: Platform Engineer
Location: Montreal, QC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will design, build, and support scalable platform solutions while contributing to enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support platform engineering solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
  • Support modernization initiatives for core banking platforms, citizen services applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and enterprise digital services.
  • Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available platform services.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams.
  • Support customer, citizen, and telecom-facing applications and services.
  • Implement automation, monitoring, observability, and self-service platform capabilities.
  • Support cloud transformation and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive platform reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Support telecom network operations, 5G platforms, and edge computing environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Platform Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
  • Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, or telecom customer platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering practices.
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale and mission-critical environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containers, or Kubernetes technologies.
  • Platform, Cloud, or DevOps certifications preferred.
