Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Information Systems and Security for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
  • Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in information systems, cybersecurity, fintech, or healthcare management and informatics.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
To teach undergraduate courses:
  • A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in information systems or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.

OR
  • A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.

To teach graduate courses:
  • A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in information systems or a related discipline is required at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, PCIP, or equivalent.
  • Willingness to teach in face-to-face or hybrid modalities.
