Skate City Shawnee is now accepting applications for new part-time team members. We are located at 9800 W 62nd Terrace, Merriam, KS 66203. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and engaged. Ability to work shifts on afternoons, evenings, and weekends preferred.

Skate City offers a flexible work schedule, with opportunities for advancement and training in more specialized roles within the company. 


Responsibilities

  • Perform service roles in assigned job duties, delivering a high level of customer service. These roles may include Skate Rental Attendant, Concessions Associate, Arcade & Redemption Associate, plus many other roles.
  • Rental Skate Services include the inspection of all rental skates for safety standards prior to issuing to customer.
  • Concessions Services include food and beverage preparation and sales transactions.
  • Arcade & Redemption include sales transactions of skate trainers, and re-stocking of prizes.
  • Most positions may require general shift preparation or closing responsibilities, which includes cleaning and re-organizing facilities and equipment.
  • Opportunities for advancement and training in additional roles such as Admissions Sales Associate, Skating Floor Monitor, Disc Jockey, and more.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and eagerness to help others.
