Job description

Maintain cleanliness of bars including removing all trash, sweeping and mopping floors, removing mats, and cleaning and removing any sticky products. Deep clean bars weekly including wiping off bottles, cleaning countertops and walls, removing glass mats, cleaning all sticky surfaces, emptying cabinets wiping down insides, and returning products.

  • Ability to understand and comply with all department and company policies and procedures, rules and regulations 
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests 
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Must be able to obtain an alcohol awareness card
  • High School diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded

  • Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel

  • Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range 

  • Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity 

  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures

  • May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time

  • Mobility to move about the property

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS:  Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Remove and transport bar trash in large green trash can and wheel to dumpster

  • Remove rubber mats and transport to proper area by beverage cart for cleaning

  • Maintain clean floors by sweeping and mopping floors with clean hot bleach water

  • Clean out drains and pour bleach to maintain clean and clear drains

  • Use correct elevators and delivery routes to and from bars

  • Report to Food & Beverage Supervisor on duty for daily assignments

  • Remain up to date on hotel happenings and hours of operation of all food and beverage outlets

  • Do a deep cleaning weekly which includes wiping down bottles, cleaning all surfaces, countertops, and walls
