Job description

Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our maintenance department by conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing and/or replacing equipment and machinery.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Test and calibrate equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform major repairs and machine overhauls as necessary.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts used.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production and operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and follow established procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Keep up-to-date with equipment manuals, procedures, and training materials, as required.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to share knowledge and ensure the successful completion of maintenance tasks.
Education and Experience
• Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Good understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined and elevated spaces.
• Ability to work outside of regular hours, as necessary, and work overtime or emergency call-ins as required.
