JOB TITLE: Operations Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Legacy Club
STATUS: Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for facilitating the daily operational needs of Legacy Club and supervision of hourly team members.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Accountable for maintaining venue cleanliness and clean, hygienic workstations in accordance with Clark County Health Standards & Circa standards of cleanliness
  • Oversees all hourly team members, reporting up to the General Manager
  • Facilitates staff training and education under the direction of senior management
  • Responsible for ensuring the Circa standards of service are consistently being upheld
  • Responsible for overseeing the daily set-up and breakdown of the guest-facing & back-of-house areas prior to the venue opening for business
  • Responsible for following all designated emergency procedures and understands duties in the event an emergency arises
  • Provides constant visual surveillance of surrounding area identifying any potential safety or emergency situations
  • Communicates and interacts professionally with guests and team members at all times, addressing concerns and providing information in a courteous manner
  • Assists guests with requests or concerns, offering appropriate alternatives when possible, resolving problems seeking assistance from a senior manager when necessary
  • Understands, enforces and adheres to all Circa and departmental policies and procedures, embraces company culture and takes pride in the resort and its amenities
  • Attends required training classes and incorporates new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices
  • Solution oriented, looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times
  • Performs all other job-related duties as assigned and has flexibility to perform other job-related tasks as deemed necessary by senior management

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidates must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume food & beverage setting.
  • Must be able to work in a loud environment where smoking is present
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to perform basic mathematics, as well as possess a basic understanding of business-related software such as Microsoft Office or similar
  • Must possess excellent communication skills. Ensuring professional and courteous communication at all times
  • Must be able to communicate in English with guests, management, and other employees to their understanding. Additional foreign language a plus
  • Must be able to create and maintain an upbeat, positive, relaxed environment on a consistent basis
  • Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene in accordance with Circa company policy
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, mixed cocktails and cost control
  • Must exhibit strong motivational and developmental skills, as well as a positive "whatever it takes" attitude
  • Must be able to work efficiently and within a team environment
  • Must be available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts
  • Possess basic knowledge of the Las Vegas area and attractions

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have or be able to obtain all required Nevada work cards (Health)
  • Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness card (TAM)
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Nevada Non-Gaming Card (Sheriff's Card)

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
  • Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow team members and Guests.
  • Moderate to loud noise levels
  • May be exposed to secondhand smoke
