About this Position:
The Sr. 3D Artist will drive the creation of high-end, photoreal automotive content across cinematic, real-time, and still imagery pipelines. This role is responsible for crafting premium visual storytelling for global automotive brands spanning virtual photography, cinematic sequences, and environment creation while operating within a scalable, production-ready Unreal Engine pipeline.
The ideal candidate brings proven industry experience, a strong portfolio of shipped work, and the ability to collaborate closely with creative leadership in a live, iterative production environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Real-Time Mastery: Author and maintain clean, modular Unreal scenes using Master/Sub-Sequences and Level Streaming.
  • Infrastructure & Standards: Operate within Perforce-managed environments, adhering to version control and publishing standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams to ensure assets, materials, and lighting scale across multiple vehicles and productions.
  • Asset Pipeline: Utilize Maya for expert asset prep, scene setup, and pipeline integration.
  • Creative Execution: Partner with directors and producers to execute evolving briefs and provide artistic/technical guidance.
  • Production Agility: Operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with incomplete product data.
  • Scalability: Contribute to best practices for a scalable, multi-vehicle production pipeline.

What You Bring:
  • Automotive Expertise: Proven experience in high-end automotive, product, or cinematic visualization.
  • Advanced Unreal Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Sequencer, Lumen, path tracing, lighting, and rendering.
  • Technical Toolkit: Strong Maya skills and deep understanding of real-time vs. offline rendering workflows.
  • Pipeline Literacy: Experience working within version-controlled pipelines (Perforce preferred).
  • Artistic Eye: Strong grasp of lighting, composition, material realism, and cinematic storytelling.
  • Direct Review Experience: Proven ability to iterate with creative leadership in live review settings.
