• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' emotional and behavioral health needs, employing established interview techniques and clinical discretion.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions that cater to diverse student populations.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate ongoing patient care and navigate cases effectively, ensuring students receive holistic support.
• Proactively identify students and families requiring assistance, advocating for resources such as mental health services, food support, and educational programs.
• Respond to crisis situations with urgency and competence, effectively managing instances of child abuse, mental health crises, and other emergencies.
• Continuously monitor and follow up with students and families to assess progress, revising treatment plans as necessary and celebrating successes.

This role focuses on school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of behavioral health challenges, including adjustment issues related to family dynamics, academic stress, and mental health disorders. A significant emphasis will be placed on working with veterans and their families, providing tailored support built from the unique experiences and challenges they face.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
• Active California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably related to children's mental health.
• Experience has to include working with veterans and conducting psychosocial history evaluations with proficiency in suicide assessments and forensic designations.
• Adept at utilizing therapeutic methodologies in individual, group, and family settings, with foundational knowledge of community resources to support holistic care.

• Demonstrated expertise in navigating the educational system and engaging effectively with school personnel.
• Proficient in modern case management software and telehealth platforms for delivering services and maintaining accurate documentation of patient records.
• Experience with crisis intervention methods to support students facing critical life challenges.
