JOB DESCRIPTION.
Second Baptist School University-Model is currently looking for engaging, reliable substitute teachers for classes at all levels, from Pre-Grammar to Rhetoric (PK-12th grade). In this role, the substitute will cover for an absent teacher, adhering to the predetermined lesson plan(s) and ensuring that students have a fulfilling learning experience. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Substitute teaching experience and an ability to lead classrooms effectively.
  • An authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects this relationship.
  • The ability to integrate biblical principles throughout activities.
  • Passion for learning and a commitment to classical instruction.
  • The ability to assist with logistical needs such as carline, lunch, and recess.
  • Interactions with students, parents, faculty and staff that follow established guidelines.
  • Proficiency in technology and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Prior knowledge of Second Baptist Church and School is considered a plus.
