Story Director


Position Summary

The Story Director oversees the church's communications and creatively shares what God is doing at Multiply Church, its mission, ministries, and events through effective marketing, media, and community engagement.


Reports To

Lead Pastor


Employment Status

Part-Time Apx. 3-5hrs per week


Primary Responsibilities


Communications & Public Relations

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that promote the church's mission and ministries.
  • Respond to social media inquiries.


Marketing & Media

  • Manage the church's website, social media, and promotional materials.
  • Create and oversee marketing campaigns for services, events, and special initiatives.


Content Development

  • Produce engaging content, including graphics, photography, videos, announcements, newsletters.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication platforms.


Leadership & Administration

  • Coordinate communication calendars and marketing projects.
  • Recruit and support volunteers assisting with media and communications.


Church Collaboration

  • Work with pastors, ministry leaders, and staff to communicate ministry activities effectively.
  • Promote church-wide events and strengthen community engagement.


Expectations

  • Model a Christ-centered life marked by integrity, professionalism, and servant leadership.
  • Support the church's mission, vision, and statement of faith.
  • Maintain creativity, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Remain flexible to support weekend services and special events as needed.


We are asking:

  • Prepare weekly social media engagement post (2-5 post per week).
  • Prepare graphics for events quarterly.
  • Build and lead a team to support all areas in Story Department.
  • Create Sunday morning schedule for volunteers in Story Department.
  • Create a Story Calendar
