Many churches have a single person for this position, and this may be the same person performing other technology-related tasks for the church. However, some outsource this to external contractors instead. Church graphic design jobs require an understanding of religious symbolism and themes, as well as the ability to produce content in time-sensitive situations. This job also involves adjusting graphics to help meet church goals and modifying content for different groups within the church, such as a band, choir, or children's ministry.
