Job Type: Part-Time

Summary
The Floater at Church Childcare Center provides essential support to help the center open each morning and ensure children are welcomed into a safe, nurturing environment. In addition, the Floater is expected to remain flexible and prepared to step into other classrooms and roles throughout the day as needed, supporting our commitment to quality care and education in alignment with Christian values.
Floating Assignments
  • Remain available to support other classrooms and age groups beyond the morning shift as needed.
  • Adapt quickly to changing assignments and responsibilities based on daily operations.
  • Collaborate with a variety of teachers and staff across multiple classrooms.
Child Supervision and Safety
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all children in your care.
  • Monitor and guide childrenโ€™s behavior using positive communication and redirection strategies.
  • Report any safety concerns promptly to administration or lead staff.
Communication and Team Collaboration
  • Maintain professional communication with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Work as part of a team to keep routines consistent across classrooms.
  • Attend required staff meetings and training sessions.
Policies and Compliance

  • Follow all Church Childcare Center policies and procedures.
  • Comply with state licensing regulations and complete required training and certifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the center.
Qualifications
