Brite Nites is a nationally recognized leader in custom holiday and year-round lighting design. Since 1993, we've brought spaces to life with immersive lighting experiences for residential, commercial, and municipal clients. Our reputation is built on creativity, quality, and exceptional service.
We're currently hiring seasonal Lighting Technicians for our 2026 season.
About the role
What the work is actually like (read this carefully):
  • You'll be outside all day in cold, rain, and sometimes snow
  • 10+ hour days, 6 days a week during peak season
  • You'll be on ladders and roofs daily - if you're not comfortable at heights, this isn't the right fit
  • The work is physical - climbing, carrying equipment, repetitive overhead work
  • The season is compressed: ~3-4 months of intense work (potential for extended season)

Pay: $1,200$1,800/week depending on experience and role
Schedule: Full-time seasonal, training starts September 2026
Training: Provided - no prior Christmas lighting experience needed
What you'll do
  • Install Christmas lighting on homes and commercial buildings
  • Work on ladders (up to 32 ft), roofs, and occasionally in trees or on cherry pickers
  • Hang, clip, and staple light strands along rooflines, trees, and structures
  • Work in 2person crews serving residential clients
  • Potential for takedown work through JanuaryFebruary (not guaranteed for all hires)

  • People who've finished a full season of physical outdoor work before (landscaping, roofing, painting, construction, tree trimming, guiding, wildfire crews)
  • People comfortable with heights and changing weather
  • People who show up on time and finish what they start
  • People who work well on a 2person team with minimal supervision
