Job description

Huntington University has an opening for an IT Project Manager. The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also collaborate with team members to define a project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal Education & Certification

  • University or college degree in a field relevant to this role.
  • Certification(s) in project management, preferred.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum five years’ direct work experience in project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software. Familiarity with Teamwork, preferred.
  • Experience with large data system migrations.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Technically competent with various software programs, such as various Microsoft tools, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Christian higher education, preferred.
